📍 Day 01: Arrival in Madurai

  • Pick-up from Madurai Airport and transfer to hotel.The rest of the day is free for relaxation after the journey.
  • You can explore nearby markets for local handicrafts, jasmine flowers, and Madurai's famous Jigarthanda drink.
  • Overnight Stay: Madurai.

📍 Day 02: Madurai Local Sightseeing

  • Meenakshi Amman Temple: A stunning Dravidian-style temple dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Shiva.
  • Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace: A grand palace built in 1636 AD, showcasing Indo-Saracenic architecture.
  • Gandhi Memorial Museum: Showcasing India's struggle for independence and rare artifacts.
  • Koodal Azhagar Temple: One of the 108 Divya Desams, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
  • Mariamman Teppakulam: A huge temple tank, known for its floating temple festival.

📍 Day 03: Madurai to Rameswaram (Approx. 170 km, 4 hrs)

  • Check-out and drive towards Rameswaram, an important pilgrimage site.
  • En Route Visit:
    • Uthirakosamangai Temple: Houses a rare emerald Shiva Lingam.
    • Varahi Amman Temple: A sacred temple for Goddess Varahi.
    • Thirupullani Temple: Where Lord Rama meditated before building the bridge to Lanka.

📍 Day 04: Rameswaram Spiritual Tour

    • 22 Wells Theertham Bath: A holy ritual involving bathing in sacred wells.
    • Main Darshan at Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the Char Dham sites.

  • After Lunch:

📍 Day 05: Rameswaram to Tirunelveli (Approx. 230 km, 5 hrs)

  • Check out and proceed to Tirunelveli, a historical and spiritual hub.
  • Visit:
    • Nellaiappar Temple: A 7th-century Shiva temple known for its musical pillars and grandeur.
    • Kanthimathi Amman Temple: A part of the Nellaiappar temple complex, dedicated to Goddess Parvati.
  • Optional: Try Tirunelveli Halwa, a famous sweet made with wheat and ghee.

📍 Day 06: Tirunelveli to Thiruvananthapuram (Approx. 150 km, 4 hrs)
